How to check a USDT network before transferring

Open the current USDT wallet or order
Use the current screen in your signed-in account rather than an address or screenshot saved from an older transfer.

Read the network label
Confirm whether the destination says Ethereum (ERC20) or BNB Smart Chain (BEP20). The USDT ticker alone does not identify the blockchain route.

Choose the same route at the sending wallet
Select USDT and that same network at the wallet or exchange sending the funds. Pause if that exact option is unavailable.

Compare the destination after pasting
Check the first and last characters of the pasted address against the current ebitpoint screen before approving the transfer.
USDT is the asset; the network is the route
Tether (USDT) can be available on more than one blockchain network. TRC20 means USDT moving on Tron, ERC20 means USDT moving on Ethereum, and BEP20 means USDT moving on BNB Smart Chain. They are different routes, so the asset name on its own is not enough to prepare a transfer.
ebitpoint accepts USDT deposits, including USDT sent for a sale, on Ethereum (ERC20) or BNB Smart Chain (BEP20). TRC20 is not available for either, and older TRC20 deposit addresses are no longer shown, so do not reuse one. Before you send or receive, open the relevant wallet or order and confirm that the sender has selected USDT on the network shown there and is using the current address.
Do not choose a network from a familiar label alone
A wallet address can look valid while belonging to a different network from the one you selected. Use the exact network displayed for the destination and confirm that the sending service supports that same route.
Do not select a network simply because another transfer used it before, because someone suggested it in chat, or because an address looks familiar. The order or wallet screen is the source to follow for that transaction.
Network fees and timing belong to the sending service
A sending wallet or exchange may show its own network fee, withdrawal minimum, or estimated processing time before you approve the transfer. Read those figures on the sending screen; do not assume a figure from a previous transfer still applies.
The lowest-looking fee is not a reason to choose a different network. The destination network must match first. If the ebitpoint screen lets you choose, BEP20 is typically the lower-fee option and ERC20 network fees are usually higher; either way, the sender must use the same network the ebitpoint wallet or order shows. If neither ERC20 nor BEP20 is available at the sender, pause instead of substituting TRC20 or another route.
Check the destination after copying it
Copying a wallet address reduces typing mistakes, but it does not replace a final review. Compare the first and last characters with the details displayed in your account, then make sure the selected network still matches.
If you are receiving USDT, share only the current receiving details for the asset and network required. Keep account passwords, verification codes, and recovery information private.
Pause when the route is uncertain
Network mismatches can make a transfer difficult to recover. If the required network is unclear, do not guess. Ask the sender or receiving service to confirm the asset and network before any transfer is submitted.
Once a transfer is complete, keep its reference and check the status in your account. That creates a clear starting point if you need help with the transaction.
