Protect the account that shows your wallet details
Use a strong, unique password for your ebitpoint account and secure the email address attached to it. Enable two-factor authentication when it is available, and do not sign in through unexpected links.
No legitimate support process needs your password, one-time verification code, private key, or recovery phrase. Treat requests for any of these details as a warning sign.
Open the Bitcoin wallet directly before sharing details
When you need to receive BTC, open the Bitcoin wallet inside your signed-in account and use the current instructions shown there. Do not reuse an address copied from an old conversation or a screenshot when the active wallet view is available.
If a sender asks which network to use, confirm the exact asset and network instructions from the wallet screen before they transfer. An address alone is not a complete instruction.
Review every destination before you send
Paste a recipient address rather than typing it, then compare its first and last characters with the details you intended to use. Also check the selected asset, network, and amount on the final review screen.
Be cautious when someone sends a last-minute replacement address through chat or social media. Return to your own account or a trusted contact channel to verify it independently.
Keep a record without exposing secrets
Keep the transaction or order reference after a BTC transfer, purchase, or sale. It lets you follow the status and ask Support about the right item without posting sensitive account information publicly.
If something looks unfamiliar, change your password, secure the email linked to your account, and contact Support through the signed-in route as soon as possible.
