Begin with the amount you understand
Start with the Ghana cedi amount you are comfortable using, then read the ETH estimate in the order preview. The estimate and rate can change with the market, so use the final review rather than an earlier screenshot or message when making a decision.
Check that the order says Buy and that Ethereum (ETH) is selected. A small pause at this stage can prevent a decision being made from the wrong transaction direction or with the wrong asset selected.
Read the payment details before you pay
The buy order shows the payment account and asks for the reference connected to your payment. Make sure the amount, receiving account, and reference match what is shown in your own signed-in order flow before you submit or pay.
Do not rely on payment instructions sent through an unexpected message or social account. Return to ebitpoint directly and use the details shown for the order you are reviewing.
Confirm where the ETH will be delivered
If you choose a wallet address instead of an ebitpoint wallet, review the address and Ethereum network carefully. Copying an address is safer than typing it, but compare the first and last characters after pasting and confirm the selected network still matches.
A crypto transfer can be difficult or impossible to reverse once it has been completed. If the wallet or network detail is unclear, pause and use Support through your account before continuing.
Follow the order from your account
After you submit the order, payment is checked before crypto is delivered. Follow the status and keep the order reference in your account so Support can locate the right transaction if you need help later.
