Start with a clear amount in mind
It is easy to focus on Bitcoin's price and forget the amount you are comfortable using. Start with the Ghana cedi amount you understand, then check the BTC amount the order will deliver. Crypto prices can change quickly, so there is no benefit in rushing a decision you have not reviewed.
If you are buying for the first time, take a moment to understand the difference between the rate you see and the final amount in the order preview. The preview is the place to pause, not a screen to tap through.
Make sure the order is going the right way
A buy order is paid for directly by Mobile Money or bank transfer to ebitpoint, then verified before your crypto is delivered - there is no pre-funded cedi wallet involved. Check that Bitcoin (BTC) is the asset selected, that the order says Buy, and that the amount is in the direction you expect before you confirm.
If a payment or funding option is not available in your account, do not assume it will appear later in the flow. Review the options currently shown and use Support if you need help understanding an account-specific requirement.
Check wallet details with the same care
When a purchase includes a receiving wallet or address, read it closely. A wallet address is not like a bank account number you can casually correct after a transfer. Check the asset, network, and destination before the final confirmation.
Avoid sending screenshots of wallet details or verification codes to anyone who contacts you unexpectedly. A genuine support route will not require you to share your password, two-factor code, or recovery phrase.
Keep the order reference
After placing an order, review its status in your account instead of relying on a message from another person. Save the transaction reference if you need to ask Support a question later; it gives the team a precise place to start.
